Atlantica in Cesenatico is a big water park, one of the busiest and most exciting theme parks of the Adriatic Riviera, visited each year by tourists from all over Italy and Europe. Opened in the summer season of 1988, Atlantica spreads over an area of 100,000 m2; of these, 42,000 m2 are for green areas and 5,700 m2 are for heated water pools. The water is kept at a constant temperature of 28°C and is filtered by means of state-of-the-art technologies, designed to avoid waste. Its 1,000 m of waterslides will ensure fun for all ages and tastes. Days in Atlantica are always lively, thanks to parties, group dances and live entertainment. Aerobics and aqua gym courses are offered to those who want to keep fit. The park also offers services to meet any demand of its visitors. For a light snack or a nice meal, there are: one pizzeria, one sandwich bar and a self-service restaurant. If you are more of a sweet tooth, there is an ice-cream parlour and a sweets stand. There is also a shop where to buy the park related gadgets and marine products. Atlantica also offers 1,000 car parks.
